China's Twelfth-Century Intellectual Influence on Japan

Sumerian Contribution

The Development of Ideas About the Moon‘s Surface

Sociality in Animals

Paragraph 2 suggests that the author would be most likely to agree with which of the following statements about interaction between Japan and China during the Sung dynasty?

No doubt most of the developments of the Sung in art, religion, and philosophy would in time have been transmitted to Japan. But the fortuitous combination of desire on the part of the Sung to increase its foreign trade with Japan and the vigorous initiative taken in maritime activity by the Taira clan greatly speeded the process of transmission.

The transmission of China’s intellectual influence was inevitable, but a combination of factors caused this influence to progress more quickly than it might have otherwise developed.

老师继续追讨,问学生是否提交第一阶段的作业assignment for the first session。

有两个策略“2 strategies:one for improving the customers’ waiting experience; and the other for improving their recollection of their experience”。

6.What does the professor mainly discuss?

7.In the example the professor gives, what was the result of moving the airport arrival gate farther from the baggage claim area?

8.What does the professor imply about gum and magazines?

9.According to the professor, why do some companies direct customers into lines that are not straight?

10.What is the professor’s opinion about companies’ ability to change customer perception of wait times?

11.The professor describes an experiment with water. What does the experiment demonstrate?
